The judge who President Trump once attacked for his Mexican heritage has ruled in favor of the administration in a lawsuit attempting to block Trump's promised wall on the U.S.-Mexico border.
U.S. District Court Judge Gonzalo Curiel, whose parents emigrated from Mexico, ruled Tuesday against a legal challenge to the wall over environment waivers granted by the Department of Homeland Security to build the wall.
The ruling means that the administration will be able to continue waiving the regulations to build barriers on the border.
Trump had targeted Curiel during the 2016 presidential election, claiming that the judge might be biased against him in a lawsuit over Trump University because of Curiel's Mexican heritage.

Curiel wrote in his ruling that he did not have "serious constitutional doubts" about the administration's use of the waivers.
"In its review of this case, the court cannot and does not consider whether underlying decisions to construct the border barriers are politically wise or prudent," he also wrote.

Wish we could all get those environment waivers.

immanent domain is a bitch. lot's of good americans gonna lose some land if they do end up stretching the wall/fence across the border.

The questioning of the judge because of his heritage is one of the more embarrassing and repugnant things Trump has said and done.

Mexican Americans don't like to just get into gang fights, they like flowers and music and white girls named Debbie too.

This should only surprise those that watch the group think MSM. Most Americans with Mexican heritage can’t stand illegals.

But he sure wanted to
But since Trump has beaten them at every turn, he just took this parting shot instead

Why can't some of you just admit that the judge did his job and God Emperor was wrong for what he said about him?
He's a pretty good judge is you ask me. He left his personal opinions out of this case and some of y'all can't stand that.

When you start an article with fake news, I presume the entire article is fake news

I know many Mexicans whose devotion to an honorable life is foremost in their minds. It seems this judge is another one. In today's climate of raucous protests by Mexican-Americans, and derisive comments on El Mundo, I can understand President Trump's concern. It is so sad we are all so divided in this country, and I wish it would get better, but I predict chaos in the future. I will probably escape the turmoil, but I fear for all of my kids and grandchildren.

Solid opinion.
