Just cut off the arm and go prosthetic.

Your personality will make up for it.

ETA: Thought this was Mr. Personality. As Ms., pics are needed for best prognosis.

6 month or so surgery recovery. Not easy. Can try PT and meds first but if no improvement in a couple months or so should prob consider surgery.

Did you do it while drinking?

If so, Mr. Personality can take you to an AA meeting

I understand that the surgery and recovery is pretty difficult...couple of guys at work have had it and had to sleep in a recliner for a while.

Doc I went to said that arm would be in a sling with very limited use for four weeks and full recovery up to six months with surgery. My tear was very small, so we tried a cortisone injection and physical therapy. This has worked very well and I have about 95% use. Forget about throwing baseballs or footballs, but I can do modified bench presses and dumbbell flies. This may require additional injections but I plan on doing the in home therapy exercises every other day as instructed.

I had posterior, anterior tear of the Labrum, one of the top rotator cuffs and 2 bone spurs done a few years back. Absolutely sucked For 4-6 months, but then was the best thing that I ever did. PT was grueling. Get the water chilled shoulder pack for sure. Make sure you do Everything the PT says for home exercises...it will be the baseline for future threshold. I neglected the ball on the wall exercise and my rotation will only be 95% forever and took a couple years to get all the stamina back. Good luck

Eta: you know which of the four is torn? How bad the tear is? Any other damage? Your strong arm or off arm?

I broke both my rotator cuffs. Doc said surgery was pointless because I was 19 and to wait till i couldn’t move my arms anymore.

If you can raise your arm above your head, you're good. When u cant, you need surgery.

Can you do your job with it remaining torn?

I've got 2 of the 5 tendons with a tear, and 1 of the 5 ruptured . I still have full use and control of my arm with about 50% strength loss only in some positions.

Diagnosed by a physician? Get a second opinion. Sometimes it’s bursitis and resultant shoulder impingement syndrome. Sometimes a minor tear that does not require surgery. Did you have an MRI? Does your doctor specialize in shoulders? “Doctor it hurts when I do this.” Yes. “Don’t do this.” These guys who lift weights. Don’t listen to them. No bench, no flies, and nothing where you can’t see your hands. I did stay in a Holiday Inn, but it was during a convention of orthopedic surgeons. Buono fortuna. (BTW, sometimes all it takes is a steroid shot to the shoulder.)
