No one wanted him in 2016 and we definitely do not want that neo con in 2020.

If he wants to throw more money away, he’s more than welcome to. Kasich is Trump sans the morals/social issues. Plus he’s a giant wuss.

John Kasich finished third in a two-man race.

Who in that party will stand up to her? If the buzz in mid 2019 is that the Democratic bench is weak I absolutely think she would consider it.
At her age and obvious health problems it’d be a miracle for her to make it to the general election.

Kasich will likely run as an independent. That will split the Republican vote and elect the Democrat (Kamala? Corey? Who knows?)

I am trying to remember the last time a sitting president faced even REMOTELY a decent challenge to their party's nomination.
Honestly drawing a blank. Carter maybe?

John Kasich would need witness protection if his campaign led to Kamala Harris in the White House

Yeah, people's faith in Kasich is odd. Based on Trump's first year in office, Kasich would have to run to the left of him to be consistent and that would be a disaster politically. Republican voters are not itching to vote out an incumbent for a left leaning moderate.

We need somebody who isn't going to burn down the system for selfish purposes like Trump does. Whether it's Kasich, Romney or Mark Warner, any of them would be far preferable to this arse cancer.

Sounds like he is going to waste a lot of stupid peoples money . He doesn’t have a chance against trump .

Yah Trump is in great shape with the GOP base - there’s literally nowhere for Kasich to run. If he really wants to hurt Trump he’d just run as an Indy in the general and ruin OH, PA, and MI for Trump.

How has Trump burned down the system? Specific examples, please.

Also it's the moderate middle who will decide the 2020 race. Trump won't get so lucky as he did with the moderates who took a flyer on him in 2016.
Trump will keep that 35% base who as he said would vote for him if he shot somebody in the street, but he won't get close to 50% unless his opponent is fatally flawed.

I'm not debating anybody who still doesn't see how Trump operates, that demographic is hopeless. I'll converse with adults and talk AT the Trumpsters.
