His whole point would be to weaken Trump as much as possible in a primary so that Trump would lose to the Democrat.

Who in that party will stand up to her? If the buzz in mid 2019 is that the Democratic bench is weak I absolutely think she would consider it.

I disagree - Harris has already wooed the Hollywoood / neoliberal Wall Street / NYC crowd and is the rather heavy front-runner if she wants to run.

Also, Obama would definitely pick Harris and Biden over Hillary this time. Obama doesn’t like Hillary.
