The older I get the less creepy I think he is. The more I realize he was mentally fricked with from the time he was a child and it shows. More of a victim instead of a freak show.

EXACTLY! Not condoning what he did, but watching the few interviews he ever did, he still seemed like a lost child. That Oprah interview he did in the 90s was a real eye opener to how socially awkward he was. IMO

I honestly think that he really probably wasn't a child molestor. Like you said, he was just damaged and had no idea of what was appropriate. Maybe I'm naive.

Correct. I wasn't even suggesting he was a criminal. He was creepy as shite, regardless, and I don't doubt that much of it was rooted in many issues of his upbringing.

Los Olivos is wine country. That is the area where Sideways was filmed. It just isn't some place that people would take kids. That place isn't going anywhere until the price is low enough for someone to take the risk of building a new winery.

I don't think you are. I think he had any intent to molesst kids or even engage in sexual conduct with them. I'm sure there was grey area shite that was inappropriate though.
