Is buying cameras for my house an overreaction to people letting dogs poo in my yard?

Just bought a couple blink cameras to put outside to catch the a-hole who isn't picking up after their dog.
$300 for dog poo. Overreacting?

Just put some sprinklers in your yard and turn them on whenever someone let's their dog shite in your yard.

I would buy if you were worried about theft, poo not do much. But I could depend if they have a lap dog or a small pony crapping in your yard.

My neighbor put camera's up due to a few car break in's, a few days later he caught his wife kissing some guy in the driveway while he was at work.

Go buy a big container of cayenne pepper at Sams. shake a 3 foot circle around and on pile. Pooing from other will stop shortly. Did this twelve years ago when I first moved to my house. Haven't had a problem since.

Make sure you get cameras that will alert you with motion. When you get the alert and see the dog taking a shite in your yard go throw the shite at the dog owner. I bet that dog don't shite in your yard again!

Some stupid bitch let her giant assed dog up into my flower beds and was letting it trample my flowers. I caught her and she sorta laughed about it, which really pissed me off, so then I yelled at her, "get your god-damned fricking dog out of my flowers!"

90% of time it is a dog that has escaped a fence and the owner isn't around.
Then you will have to go to the neighborhood facebook page and post a picture of the dog shite and the fuzzy picture of a dog of some sort. Make sure to leave two to three paragraphs about the irresponsibility of letting the dog shite in your yard. Make sure to mention you have small children that are too dumb to not pick up shite, or that you pay a fortune in landscaping and yard maintenance.
Good luck. My neighborhood has a club that meets to discuss dog shitting episodes.
I have a chihuahua that shits shite so hard that my wife has to reach down in the grass to get it as it falls into the turf. The dogshit nazis have scared her into digging it out and carrying the little rocks around in a bag on their walks.

What are you gonna do about it OP? You gonna track them down and move the shite to their lawn? Go shite on their lawn yourself? Burn their house down? Frick the wife? Arrange an angry mob on Nextdoor?
