They have to wrap up Thrawn as well.

Keep in mind that Lothal is in the Outer Rim...the boonies of the galaxy. I imagine that, regardless of the outcome of Rebels, once Scarif happens, the Empire has to pull forces back for higher priority missions.

Alright Gents. Tonight's the night. We get some answers, and sadly some closure. I am sad this series is ending. I really enjoyed watching it.

So they have to wrap up the fate/future of

Ezra - not in OT
Sabine - not in OT
Zeb - not in OT
Ahsoka - not in OT

Hera and Chopper - Were in Rogue One.

Maybe, maybe not. Do we know how many years elapsed between Rebels and Rogue One?

We have seen Saw, and last week someone dropped Krennick’s name. It’s possible there’s still more story to explore between Rebels and RO.

Season 1 begins 4 years before Scarif. Ezra, Luke and Leia are the same age.

I’m more excited about tonight than Ep 8. I want some Vader but I don’t think there will be time.

My predictions: Ezra, Ashoka, and Zeb do not make it out alive.

I've heard that it gets revealed in the credits that Dave Filoni has been the voice of Chopper the whole time.

If the spoilers are true a lot of people are not going to like tonight's final episodes.

That was not the closure I was looking for.

Ok, let's discuss this.

Um . . . don't really know where to get started. So, Ezra and Thrawn are off in a far away place . . . somewhere and apparently have been for a long time.

Will the new series they are creating be about an adult Ezra? Dave Filoni's (Exec. producer) twitter just said this (as he was showing a pic of the crew):

"This is some of the crew that worked on #StarWarsRebels over the years. We wanted to thank you for all the support you have given us the last four seasons. Remember my friends, the Force will be with you, always. Now let us begin, again."

What does that mean?

So Ezra and Thrawn don’t die..

And now after Endor, Sabine and Ashoka are on a journey to find Ezra?

Damn Disney...

So for those that watched did they really reintroduce Pellaeon to the canon only to have him killed? If so frick Dave Filoni for doing that

Maybe I'm just dense, but if the space whales broke through the bridge windows to hold Thrawn with their tentacles while they were on Lothal, and then they went directly into hyperspace, how did Thrawn and Ezra not both die?

The whale's anus sealed the hull.

On a more spoilery note:

Anyone else want to see a fully grown Jacen in Episode IX?

Such a cop out to have Ezra and Ashoka survive. The episode seems to be universally praised online but I hated it. Also had hoped to see it directly tie into Rogue One instead of dragging with useless fodder like the alien with 9 lives.

Also the producers were afraid to show a hero kill a villain in anger (Zeb with the Warwick Davis villain in the last episode). Yet if anything, the show teaches kids that you might as well kill the bad guy while you can because otherwise more innocent lives will die when they return. I'm surprised they let him actually do it this episode.

I originally thought that the whales were going to rip the ship apart when they went into hyperspace.
