Question:

Rex and Gregor were the clones, who we got to know in the clone wars cartoon, correct?

Such a cop out to have Ezra and Ashoka survive.

I don’t mind them surviving, I actually like it quite a bit now that I’ve had a day to process it. Seems like there is a lot of story here to tell - especially with Ashoka (who promised to find Ezra) and Sabine (who protected Lothal for him). All of these characters were young enough to have their stories carry over in a galaxy much further away.

I truly like these characters - hopefully we’ll see them again in a new series.

Yoda communicated with Ezra. That meant he knew about him. If he was alive why didn't he tell Luke? That and the time travel really soured me on a series I otherwise enjoyed.

What would be really shitty is if Sabine were to marry a man named...Tico and have two daughters.

I originally thought that the whales were going to rip the ship apart when they went into hyperspace.

Exactly how do Thrawn and Ezra survive going into space (at hyperspace speed), and not die? The windows are broken open and they would completely be exposed to the elements. This part has really been bothering me...

That, and I wish Ahsoka would have been more involved with the end of this. BUT, at least they didn't forget about her completely, that was a nice bonus at the end.

Yeah, but Mary Leia wasn't dealing with any kind of hyperspace, just everyday space.

Thrawn be dead though.

I thought the director of the series flat out said that Ezra and Thrawn were still alive.

So I finally managed to watch it was an okay finale. Overall I did like the series, little childish in some parts (thanks to being Disney) but there some epic episodes (Twilight of the Apprentice/Maul vs Obi-Wan) though. We're almost guaranteed a series post-RoTJ but prior to TFA about Sabine/Ahsoka trying to find Ezra to help in the fight against the First Order. I did like all the winks and nods to the EU: Pellaeon, the Dreadnought cruiser in the blockade, the name Jacen. Speaking of which is Dave just being funny or perhaps hinting at the future? After all Jacen was Han/Leia's son in the NJO/Legacy of the Force series that fell to the dark-side, would he have the balls to let Kanan and Hera's son turn in the future series? Its going to be interesting to see if Jacen Syndulla becomes one of Luke's first padawawns.

I have missed parts of seasons 3 and 4, but I caught the finale. I guess it was ok, but what's with the space whales/squids? Disney's influence? It just seemed out of left field.

He said that for sure, but did not explain how. I know it's Star Wars and they can do what they want...but, it's still not logical at all!

I have no idea why this keeps bothering me

That was easily one of the most ridiculous things I have ever seen in a movie. And that is a bold thing to say considering it's Star Wars.

Thrawn would have been a great character to use in the current trilogy than Crux has been. He sucks nuts.

Did he have an eye transplant. Or body transplant? Or maybe he used Michael Jackson's doctor to bleach himself.

Yes. Come on, work with me here. Snoke is in rough shape, things could have happened to Thrawn that make him look like Snoke. Timeline sorta works.

I think the space whales were a thing in Star Wars EU prior to the Disney takeover. I seem to remember reading about them in either the Tales of the Jedi or KOTOR comics. Then again, the Tales of the Jedi also had this dude as a Jedi Master:

The whales were introduced in an episode in the back half of season 2 of Rebels. Ezra created a bond with them during the episode as they helped save the Ghost crew.

The problem here is that Thrawn does not use the force (dark or otherwise) - unlike Snoke.

Know what? I don’t really care anymore - no point in debating things the directors don’t care about. TLJ didn’t care about Snoke or us in any way.

Screw it. TLJ really screwed up Star Wars. It truly did.
