I liked the Krennic name drop as well. Surely Ezra has to die before the show ends, right?
We know Hera and Chopper make it to Rogue One, but you can’t have another Jedi running around during the OT.
Also, do we get more Vader or Ashoka before it’s all said and done?

Fantastic episodes. Tone changed noticeably from the first half of the season. Can’t wait for the rest.

I imagine he needs to die. I believe people had hope that he and Sabine would be Rey’s parents. Also, there were theories that he was Snoke with them both having huge noses. We’ll see though. The cartoons have been better than movies lately.

I hope they do not kill everyone off and they pop up later somewhere.
The used that plot point to wrap up Rogue One and it worked. I do not want that to be their go to though to wrap up people we did not see in the OT.
Star Wars Rebels is canon and it needs to have some larger purpose than here are 4 seasons of the few years before Battle of Yavin.

We already know that Hera Syndulla, CH-1P, and Captain Rex survive through the Battle of Endor so they have plot armor.
I suspect that the remnants of the Ghost crew and Phoenix Squadron are the allies in the Outer Rim (of which Lothal is part of) that Leia is trying to reach at the end of The Last Jedi.
The DLC Portion of Battlefront II explores this as well with Zay Meeko and Shiv being sent to the Outer Rim as the evacuation is taking place.
Remember also that it took 4 movies before audiences finally saw Coruscant, even though it was the Imperial Capital throughout the entire original Trilogy. We still haven't seen Mandalore or Lothal in live action.

Hope Rian Johnson was watching that episode. That's how you do a satisfying sacrifice, not some guy sitting on a rock light years away pretending to be somewhere else. The way they ended this episode was perfect for the character, the show, and the story.
