Fansided article - Saints trade 1st rd pick to Browns

Read a fansided article (sorry not technilogically advanced enough to post in here) Saints trade pick 27 to Browns for D. KIZER AND PICK 33 where we get Dallas Goedert Personally I'd rather have another 2nd rd pick and not KIZER. Maybe Peyton could get him to resemble a decent QB though

Id be willing to give that up for just a 6 spot drop. Depending on who is there at 27. If it was a prospect not named Kizer though would be way more in Kizer was overhyped coming out I thought and I was never impressed with him in college. Kinda an all measurable athleticism guy with no head for it.

Kizer did himself a disservice coming out early, not that BK develops QB's at Notre Dame. Couple that with going to the dumpster fire Browns, it was recipe for disaster.
I don't think I make that trade, but Kizer will be better than what he showed last year.

The hyperbole being thrown around in this thread about a 6 spot move for a qb prospect is pretty funny. Kizer had a poor year with a horrible franchise. How many rookie, 2nd , or even 3rd year qbs would have had success in that absolute shitshow of a situation. It wasn’t that much worse than year 2 and especially 3 of Drew’s career in San Diego from a numbers perspective. He also just turned 22.
I’m not a big fan of this move but if Payton thought there was a future in Kizer it would be a relatively inexpensive move to find out.

The Steelers have a terrible secondary. As in Brandon Browner/Fred Thomas terrible.
When Shazier got hurt, the front seven was no longer able to hide the secondary.
