That's odd. They are usually lovable dogs that wouldn't hurt a fly.. People even allow their babies to be around these dogs because they know it would never do any harm to anyone.

This was the first time I had ever seen this dog and I have not seen him since. As the OP stated, he got loose from somebody's house and terrorized the neighborhood.

That's not the only curious thing about this story. If you get knocked down and only have "cuts and scrapes", what the hell are you going to the hospital for?

The problem with people that defend them is they rely on anecdotes about this one cute pit bull they met that was completely harmless. Or the one they own.
