How much does a win against Miami change attitudes here?

Obviously we'll be subject to listen to non stop misery all off season but does an impressive showing and a win against Miami calm people down some?

Maybe. Depends on it’s a convincing win.

Also, I think a large portion of the fans that want Orgeron fired believe it is inevitable that he is going to lead LSU in the wrong direction. Wins here or there won’t change that.

I dont think Miami is that good but a win over them would keep things positive until the auburn game. People will want to get excited.

People will not and should not change their attitude until 0 has a successful season. The odds of him doing that are slim to none.

Would a double digit victory against Miami make you feel better about those odds?

No. If he wins the first 5 or 6 in a row I’ll be more optimistic.

As a fan of LSU football, if we lose I will not like it but if we win I will be happy about the outcome. And it's the same every game. There is no final attitude, it swings with each game/hire/recruit.

So a double digit win against Miami gives you no signs of optimism at all?

It will have no effect on the vocal minority that runs this board. They will sit and stew until adversity appears then strike as usual...... quite a life to lead. I feel sorrow for then actually.

It was thw same thing we fired Les for. If that was success then why did we fire the winningest coach on LSU history

About the same amount as the win against Oregon changed the attitude about Miles on here.

Go 4-0 to start the season and I will definitely start looking at things differently.

I dont think Miami is that good

I keep seeing people say this. Miami was in the top 10 team last year and didn't they play in the ACC championship game? What am I missing? They had a MUCH better year than LSU.

Note: I am not saying LSU cannot or will not beat them.
