You must be close to my age because that ‘69 Game ruined our NATTY hope. So much BS.
I listened to the Ole Miss game on WWL. Cried like a baby.
The AU game T TS was awesome as I recall.
Freaking Archie.

Kentucky 2007, only because we were there in person riding the high from earlier Florida win.

1. Iowa State upsetting Oklahoma State in 2011 (I know LSU didn't play in this game, but this is the worst outcome in LSU football history. 1/9 was a formality after that).
2. Alabama 2012 (Yeldon screen. Not quite as painful since it was in our control and we still had to beat Georgia).

Here is your thoughts on 2016 Florida game....

The players lost the Florida game not the coaches.Fumble at the 5 then give up 95 yard pass td. 14 point swing right there then Guice going the wrong way. Players not coaching
so why aren't you blaming the players for Wisky?
miles didn't fumble once and throw 2 ints. against wisky.
why the hypocrisy?

Orange bowl 1982, L to Nebraska.
Was just getting old enough to understand football and I remember the buzz of what was next if LSU won that game. That was supposed to be a launching pad. Me, it's the first time I experienced a large group of [adult] Tiger fans and the excitement was contagious.
So was the very slow deflate for the next year with Stovall.

I have two that just made me sick afterwards, and they both involve the same team: Arkansas.
One of them was not the infamous 2007 3 OT loss; that was bad enough, but things turned out OK.
The two that I'm referring were both late losses as a result of long pass blitzes: 2002 and 2008

You can include 2000 UAB and 2017 Troy. Those five games, whereby LSU was a HUGE favorite at home, have one common denominator: the curse of the purple jerseys.

SO....... LSU was not prepared for that game nad made ZERO adjustments during it.. That's ALL on coaching...

So its OK to blame players while Miles is the coach but not ok to blame players while O is coach???

1/9/12 - Obvious reasons
16 Florida - Hands down one of the worst games of football I’ve ever watched

loser..... There is NO way of knowing that LSU beats Okie St. They would have ben by far the best offense they would have faced all year....

Your two most painful losses (L.S.U.)?
(this doesn't make it the worst loss, it just hurt me emotionally far worse than others, because of the stakes and what the team was before that game).
Outside that, I'd have to think some of the last-second losses (Iowa in 2004, Notre Dame this year), the incredibly humiliating upsets (Troy this year, Miss St this year, Miami of Ohio, etc), or the bumbling losses to teams we'd outplayed (Florida 2016, Kentucky 2007, etc).

No doubt about it. Just like Stanford-Oregon 2012 and Ohio State-Wisconsin 2017 (non-SEC games rigged to put Bama back in the title hunt).
