Does anyone tie their shoe laces differently

Does anyone use anything besides the standard Shoelace knot?
I prefer getting the laces where I want them, then tie two small knots just past the eyes on each side. It's not that I'm lazy and don't want to tie my shoes. I'd rather not have my shoes come untied and get drug through piss in the rest room before I notice that they are untied.
I just noticed an 7-8yo kid in a store with both shoes untied and so I said something to him. His mom apologized and said that that's his thing, then she immediately made him tie his shoes. He used some series of knots that I'm not even sure was a thing and he was just being a smartass because they looked like it was gonna be a bitch to untie.

Maybe tie your shoe correctly the first time and this doesn't happen

What do you do with the extra lace?
I usually double knot so that my laces don't come untied.

I have waterworld feet, so it all just kinda works out. Sometimes I lace it through to the inside and run it under the insert.

I hate shoe laces showing when wearing pants and am trying to figure out a way to tuck them in the shoe where they won’t come out. They always seem to sneak out, any ideas as long as we are on this thought pattern?
