For Episcopalians, God is Officially Gender Fluid (or whatever)

So the Episcopal Church is no longer going to refer to God as any gender in the revised Book of Common Prayer. And any gender (the fact that they officially recognize more than 2 is preposterous) is welcome into the Priesthood. Keep in mind, if you weren't confirmed when you were 13 you still can't become a priest. Priorities.

As a life long Episcopalian, I've put up with a lot of crap in the past 10-15 years; but this might be it for me.

Many of us are waiting and need to hear God in our language, in our words and in our pronouns,” she added. Christians, following the teachings of Jesus Christ, have prayed to God as "Our Father" from the very beginning. Theologians explain that the masculine word “Father” indicates a relationship.
