That’s it? I’ve been waiting to read the document itself, as opposed to the endless conspiracy fantasies preceding its release. I can’t believe that’s all it says.
So at the end of the day, the claim is that a FISA warrant for surveillance of Carter Page is called into question because Steele didn’t like Trump? So what did they get from Page’s surveillance? This doesn’t say. How did this harm Carter Page or anyone else? This doesn’t say.
I can’t believe that is it.

That's not what is says, but that's what it wants you to believe.
Saying that no surveillance warrant would have been sought from the FISC without the Steele dossier information is not the same as the warrant would not have been obtained without the warrant.
Try and figure that out.
And, without the full warrant application, it is impossible to determine what, if any, other information was presented to the court to obtain the warrant.

The memo doesn’t say that. It says that there is evidence of bias and conflicts that were apparently not disclosed. But it doesn’t assert illegality.
And it does not describe what fruit was obtained by the surveillance. You can’t even argue about suppressing evidence obtained from an improper surveillance unless something damning was obtained. This memo does not identify any fruit.

The authors of the memo are not the finders of fact. They are the investigative body. They are not the ones that determine ultimate legality. Your ignorance of the process is the only thing you have shown here. You might want to be careful accusing anyone else of being incapable of intelligent reasoning.

Have you ever seen a search warrant affidavit before? All that is presented is the cause to search, not all possible defenses. Grand jury presentations are the same. It’s up to the judge to decide if the evidence is sufficient. This is real basic stuff.
