This is a war against abuse by a few in the FBI and DOJ.

Understand that there are whistleblowers within the FBI that has helped bring this about.

This is an attempt to return the FBI to it's purpose. This is an attempt to change the FISA process and to put checks in place so that those in power can no longer abuse it in this manner.

In the past, people would not face any penalty. They would simply fade into the night. That's acceptable ONLY IF YOU WANT THIS TO CONTINUE.

McCabe... is it right for him to get away with the things he has done and just fade into the night with his retirement pension? Doesn't that say that his replacement will get to do the same?

It has to stop....

I disagree, that’s why you see Gowdy retiring imo. He’s not comfortable according to sources the way the GOP is trying to destroy Justice Dept credibility especially the FBI.

I agree it's not a war on the FBI. It's a war on the Mueller investigation. The FBI stuff is just to sow doubt over the integrity of their investigative procedures, so they can do the same on Mueller's.

It's pretty transparent.

Lol. Those attempts were voted down a couple weeks ago.

Correct.
The war, if it existed, was by those at the top (Comey-McCabe-Strzok-Page) forcing politicization on the Bureau's rank-and-file.

Rigth. It's like 3-4 guys at the top levels of the FBI. We can't allow the criminal behavior of 3 or 4 top level guys in the FBI stain the reputation of the all the good men and women in the Bureau. I think most reasonable people realized this despite the MSM using the FBI rank and file as their rhetorical bodyguards. It's a pretty despicable act by the MSM and their Democrat Party team members.

Well on its way to being the most overused phrase in 2018.

It may not be a war now, but it should be, and it will be. It's rotten from the top down. Not every bit of it, but too much to brush off. It needs a total overhaul.

bullshite. Gowdy wrote the fricking memo! He is literally the only guy to view all the underlying intelligence the document is based on.

If he is resigning because of corruption, it is almost certainly for the opposite reason.

There was an abuse in the FISA process?!?

Evidence was proffered to a FISA court judge who determined it was sufficient to grant a warrant. What actual evidence do you know of that an "abuse" occurred?

FYI - Carter Page was under surveillance by the FBI FOR YEARS before Trump ever ran for office. He met multiple times with a Russian diplomat who was proven to be a spy and was kicked out of the country. Carter Page initiated some of those meetings. Why did he initiate meetings with a proven Russian spy? Under oath to the House intelligence committee, he said it was because he wanted to practice his Russian language skills. If you believe that...well...you fulfill every stereotype of a Trump voter.

Gowdy was a part of the process to expose it. Try again.

Gowdy is headed to the 4th!

Then you have a hard time explaining all the things prior to that event . Care to explain why those things are being exposed?

So when was he arrested? On what charges was he indicted? This entire investigation was obviously built on credible suspicion, witnesses and evidence so I assume the subject of the investigation has at least been apprehended?
