I have lived in a good number of cities/towns in La...I can tell you from experience that it is not nearly the worst city in La....

Someone once told me that south Louisiana would be underwater at some point in the future and i’d Have to move to Alexandria to be dry.

I told them I’d rather live underwater.

Alexandria is a hard city to drive. Nothing is easy to get to from Hwy. 167. There's no place to get off of Hwy. 167, and go to the bathroom until you get to the Hwy. 165 exit, which is might be Tioga, or somewhere north of Alexandria. I got off across from Louisiana College and stopped at a feed store, where a nice man let me use his restroom. Only three or four exits off of I-49 between Opelousas and Alexandria that have a restroom too!
