I think Gowdy recognizes that he can't prosecute people from the House, so he wants to go somewhere that he can. I think the past few years with all of the corruption, knowing he can't do anything about it, might have irritated him a bit.

Sessions needs to go, to make way for Gowdy at AG. Then when Ruth Buzzy Ginsberg kicks off, to the SC with him.

Wow. Big news regardless of what you think of him. Was a big player. Doubt his poli career is done. But we’ll see. Lots of GOP members with clout calling it quits this cycle

It is interesting that we're told this morning that the President's legal team is reviewing the memo for release and Gowdy steps down to go back to the justice system. Could be nothing, but my interest is piqued.
