Just tried this place out tonight. Posted a review on here about Hannah Q back in the day and Tchews is going to run Hannah outta town.

Got a 3 meat/side plate. Brisket(point),pork, and ribs. Brisket was flavorful and moist. Pulled pork was good and moist how it should be. Ribs are the way I like them. Pull off the bone and not fall off with a good rub.
2 gripes I guess...Mac n cheese was good but could have been a little more creamy. Potato salad is crab boiled and also could have used more creaminess to it.

Overall, really good and like I said, this will run Hannah Q out. Never liked Hannah. Had a couple bad experiences there with wrong order and/or food quality. Also found all of their meat dry and sides bland.

Spoke with the owner for a couple minutes while there tonight. Really nice guy. Has all of his smokers built from a friend that’s a welder/fabricator. Said he’d take me on a tour to check out the equipment next time I stop in. Place should thrive.

Went there last Friday.

Brisket was good. Don't remember a place ever asking if you want brisket trimmed lean or fatty.

Chicken was good but, a little dry

ribs were cooked to death. too dry to eat really.

The drink station right in between the 2 doors is poor planning. people trying to get drinks are in the way of people trying to get in and out. should have put this in one of the corners.

it was exactly what you'd expect from a mom and pop operation. order takers were really slow. people delivering food were rather rude. just throws a bag of food on the table without regard to drinks, utensils and whatnot.

I worked at a bbq place for a few years while in school and we asked lean or fatty for brisket orders. Did not get a drink so didn't pay attention to that placement of that.

I did not get a vibe of employees being rude but then again I got my order to go and stood at the counter and talked to owner and a couple of employees and all were nice. Next time I go I will be dining there.

I hope these guys do well. They have a great following on FB --- and are very responsive to their followers.

We went by as you probably saw my post about the Pork Belly BLT. That shite was insane.

I cant wait to try the brisket and ribs.

On a relevant sidenote they ran Kickstand Catering and that food was outstanding considering they made and served it out in a cane field after a race our outside a bar for an event

They can frickin cook.

The Sonic Location does kinda suck as I hate sitting outside in the Summer and I never saw a bathroom.
But we will be getting some food to-go if i'ts hot and humid or dining outside if it's cool outside at least once a month.

So Me and my better half tried this place Friday evening.

We ordered a brisket sandwich with macaroni and chicken/rib plate with beans and potato salad.

The best thing by far was the brisket sandwich. Lots of meat which was moist, tender, and tasty.

The ribs had very good flavor but tasted like they had been in a warmer all day. They weren’t particularly tender. I would like to try the ribs early one day for lunch when they are likely to be freshly cooked.

The chicken and macaroni were the worst of the meal. The half chicken was very dry and over cooked. Like the ribs they were probably cooked earlier that day. The chicken seemed to have good flavor but we couldn’t get past how dry and tough it was.

The beans were good not great. The potato salad is made with crawfish boil potatoes. They were ok but could use a little tweaking.

Overall the brisket is definitely worth a repeat visit. I will give them another shot for the ribs and chicken maybe for lunch one day.

I went last night as well, and felt pretty much the exact same as you. Fatty brisket was good... pulled pork was ok... the rest was forgettable. Chicken and ribs were just plain bad.

Wife and I tried it last week. Very unimpressed. Sides were just bad. Mac and cheese was dry and tasteless. Potato salad was dry and justed tasted like crab boiled potatoes. Beans were bad.

Pulled pork was very dry. Chicken dry. Brisket was only thing that was just okay.

Agree about sitting outside in June to eat so ordered to go. As I ws waiting I saw someone get a go order and have to come back for sauce. Should have gone to school on that as I didn't check and assumed my bbq order would have some kind of sauce. Nope. And as noted as dry as this shite was it definitely needed sauce.

I've seen many rave about this place on Facebook but I don't see it. Expensive and bad. Won't be back.

Oh and take down the realtor sign before you nail your sign to the posts. This says a lot to me... lack of attention to detail.

I had a few weeks ago, brisket & chicken plate with beans & potato salad.

I ordered the fatty brisket and it was dry. The chicken was all stringy

The beans had pieces of brisket in them, I thought they were good. I also liked the potato salad, like others have said it has a hint of crab boil

BBQ looked okay, but the crawfish was more appealing. The wife said they let it soak 20 minutes, which was encouraging.

Do you ever notice that when Roger shows up, everyone’s BBQ pit is spotless like it’s never been cooked on? The producers must require them to clean the hell out of the rigs.

we tried to go to the one in the old sonic on airline a few weeks ago... there was no one there besides the workers. It was 530 pm on a Saturday. I already was kind of breaking my rule to not eat Q places for dinner.

When I saw no one there, i left and gave adrians another try. It redeemed itself but kinda of expensive.
