Don't bother, after the market crash the market had no place to go but up.

Great Recession could have been much worse. We're lucky Bernanke was there.

Still, the preliminary conclusion is that the Trump record is modest, at best. The economy performed well in 2017, but not significantly better than its prior trend. The corporate sector showed more vigor, responding to a more business- and tax-friendly administration. But improved economic and financial conditions abroad also helped. Meanwhile, U.S. job creation slowed somewhat and the dollar weakened.
Neither the gains nor the losses can be fully ascribed to Trump. Perhaps, therefore, the biggest surprise is that, for all the fire and fury, less has changed than one might think.

Obama presided over the second round of massive stimulus spending, which significantly helped fuel a straight line recovery which has continued unabated to this day.
Trump gets credit for not screwing it up over the last year. The only thing that causes concern now is the resumption of deregulation in capital industries which is what helped facilitate the collapse last time
You are full of shite and your post is drivel of the first order. You don't even believe it.

Does prolonging the recession for 6 years count as "turning it around?"

Explain Obama's economic policy and how it led to this great growth you are attributing to him. Thank you.

Brilliant plan of Obama's! If he knew earlier that his leaving was all it would take.
Posted on 1/22/18 at 7:35 pm to Hades
Are they trying to convince me that Obama passed all these pro growth policies, and they didn't kick in until the moment Trump was elected?
Hey, I was born at night, but it wasn't last night.

History and economics have always told us that higher taxes and more regulations are the key to a strong economy!

Reagan after his tax cut plan wasn’t realized until after his term was finished
The tax cuts under Reagan eventually provided the capital formation which spawned the tech revolution. The same with the Trump cuts. They will spur capital formation and investment.
