Arden key must be drafted

I saw him drop outside the first round in the draft. The saints absolutely need to get this guy. The immeasurables on him are through the roof. If he was on the other side of Jordan our pass rush would be ridiculous. The guy had a rough offseason and he probably got that top five pick mentality some players get their junior year. That being said the guy is an absolute steal at the end of the first round.
If he is on the board take him.
If he is on the board take him.

Immeasurables? Anyone who strugggles with motivation as much as Key did in college is not worth a first

The saints are obligated to get the best guy.
Not the lsu guy.
Not the lsu guy.

We definitely don't have enough injury prone players. The training staff was probably bored all year. Let's get Key to make them busy. Better hope we stay in the playoff hunt because he will sit out games once we are eliminated from contention.

Well if he’s so large they can’t measure then I guess we have to draft him.

Maybe if he’s on the board in the 3rd Round.
Maybe.
I wouldn’t waste a pick on him, though.

I agree. If he's there you have to take him

We really, really don't need this many Key threads.

He compares favorably to Mingo and will probably go in the first rd. Just not to the Saints. SP and Co. are absolutely sold on players from Ohio State, and given their success during Payton’s tenure, keep em coming. I don’t see them taking Key, but someone will. On paper, he’s a superstar. But games aren’t played on paper. It’s a crapshoot!

5 player during his 11 year tenure. 3 in the last 2 years. I think that is the team he has the most Fromme but I don’t think it means he’s sold on them over other per se. his hits definately outweigh his misses there, though.
Antonio Pittman - 2007
Malcolm Jenkins- 2009
Vonn Bell - 2016
Michael Thomas - 2016
Marshon Lattimore - 2017

If you think "SP and Co." actually draft players based on what college they went to then at best, you're being very naive. It's simply a coincidence with the latest run of Ohio St. players imo.

Good I’ll bump this post when we see his impact year one. It’s got nothing to do with him being from lsu. He was the best DE/OLB in 2016.

No one is questioning his physical abilities. The questions are concerning his mental well being & substance abuse issues. What idiots like you can't seem to grasp is that draft picks especially 1st round picks, are viewed as investments by NFL teams. Some teams value their investments more than others & I guarantee you that the ones who do, will take Arden Key completely off of their draft boards. If he has truly started to take his career seriously then he will make for a priceless investment for some team but it won't happen in the early 1st round & he will be lucky if it happens at the end of the 1st round.

FALse! There are other guys I’d take instead of A. Key.
Only LSU players I currently want are Williams and White...in a few years.

White is a flat out stud. I can't wait to see him play here in 2018.

He won’t be around when we pick. We can stop this dream

Akiem Hicks isn't that good of a defensive lineman.
This Odell Beckham kid thinks he is more of a player than he really is.
Leonard Fournette won't be as good as Jeremy Hill.
Deshone Kizer is the best QB in the 2017 draft.

I agree Thermal. As much as I would love Key and his pass rushing skills if he is not BPA we need to pass. In my opinion it will be Baker Mayfield.

I think you meant measurables but I digress
Look nobody wants to invest a first-round draft pick on a guy who's only going to play on 3rd down or when he feels like he can reach an incentive. I bet if you were truly a general manager you think twice about saying what you said in your original post...... And surely you wouldn't act upon it.
I'd like for an LSU Tiger to get on our roster as well..... But only if he's going to be a solid contributor....... And key has done nothing in the past 365 days to make any believe his heart and his mindset matches his physical ability
