Orgeron does.
Maybe growing up in Louisiana shouldn't be a consideration when hiring a football coach.
Considering the three major male sport coaches, "talking like us" seems to be something to avoid.

We need to recruit the best and convince them to come to LSU. It’s moronic to act like LSU has the clout to turn away talented kids because they didn’t grow up dreaming about playing for LSU.

The "talk like us" narrative is false. It's not why he was hired. And, it's absolutely stupid to argue against it given that everyone in the world recognizes that someone that talks like us is meaningless relative to his job performance.
There are literally a hundred different ways to bury Ogeron and Alleva regarding the hire by simply using logical rational thought.

I'm far from an Orgeron supporter, but I've never heard anyone but people trolling here use the statement "he talks like us" as a justification for the hire.
