I’m sure you will find that when his defenses were better,
Drew Brees had only 1 defense ranked inside the top 10 (Brady has had 11..........).

That was 2013 when he had the #4 scoring defense

That year, he did this

68.6%-----5,162yds------39tds----12ints-----104.7rating

Try again, Bubba

Not everything can be quantified statistically. Brady has been the straw that stirs the drink in New England for a long time and they've done it without great receiving talent at times as well.
If Brady played in Nola, he would still be awesome, but he wouldnt have the rings. He wouldnt with our defenses.

Why people cant see that is beyond me

Post every year. One year proves nothing.

No coincidence that his td and yards are down this year with a somewhat solid D for the first time in a long time. There will be a clear correlation here.

I think people do understand that but Brady took advantage of his opportunities and lead the Patriots to 7 Super Bowls, playing a lot of really great football in those wins. That's going to be heavily valued. Surely you must understand that just as you surely must understand that not everything a QB brings to the table is quantifiable statistically.

And again do you think Drew Brees would have been as successful in Miami as he has in New Orleans?

But he's not the GOAT. He's in the Steve Young tier. That's not a slam btw.

He's not the GOAT. But he's definitely above Steve Young.

Yes.

I frick around about Brady, but I think Manning, Brady, Rodgers, and Brees got to a level their skills could travel anywhere

Well okay, just be consistent with it. You cant say in one breath Brady would be way worse in NOLA and in the next say Brees would be just as good in Miami.

You can't say that Brees would be better with the greatest NFL HC of all time?

I never once said that, you simply cant grasp what I am saying

Brady would be just as good in NOLA, everything he controls would be the same (tds, yards, ints, rating) However, he wouldnt have the rings due to his defenses being terrible, as compared to top 10 year in and out in NE

There's genuinely nothing Manning does better than Brees, outside of having a famous last name.

Maybe not 5 rings but I bet you Brady cashes in 2011 in NOLA at the very least.

Do I think Brees would have 7 Super Bowl trips in NE? No. But more than the 1 he has, sure.

In the game we lost to san fran, drew did this

64%------464 yards-----4 tds-------2int(last int being a throw away hail mary)

Our defense gave up 36 points.......

Ok. I am sure Brady would have managed the game better than 64%, 460 yards, and 4tds

Our defense sucked that game.

When Tom Brady tore his ACL in week 1 in 2008 he was replaced by Matt Cassall and the Patriots went 11-5. The following year when Brady came back the Pats went 10-6.

If he wins another Super Bowl, I’d put him at top 5 all time when he retired with all the records.

Brady
Manning
Elway
Montana
Brees

Not in any order

If Drew leads the Saints to another SB this year I'd bump him up a few spots into that 7-10 range.
So you're calculating Brees' ability based on team accomplishments. Well that's absolutely fair. It's obvious that Bradshaw is 4x better than Drew.
