How has that worked out for you so far all-knowing Rant?

Which time?

Probably would have had 9 wins and a bowl loss to ND.

Would have been great if he was actually fired in 2015. Probably would have had Jimbo. Incompetence reared its ugly head and now we have O.

don't think anyone would have had they known he'd be replaced by Ed freaking Orgeron

Not everyone went wild.
I had little confidence even Jimbo or Herman could improve the program, as neither have had to face the schedule LSU does long term.
Seems just a relatively short term threat from Clemson has sunk Jimbo/FSU.

The fact that we fricked up the hiring of his replacement does nothing to indicate he didn't need to be fired.

You're saying if Miles was still here we would not have finished 6-2 in conference with a bowl loss to ND?
Please state your case as to why?

I'm incapable of rolling my eyes back into my head further than they are at this moment.

Did they announce lyin ed as his successor that day?
Miles ran out of rope and it was the right move.
No real coaching search was horrible and we just did the same thing again.
Yet basketball had a nationwide search. Alleva was not "the search" and they picked a winner.

The Miles fan club needs to realize, the problem wasn’t firing Les. It was promoting the DLine coach.

Miles put us in this predicament. But we weren't counting on our joke of an AD hiring a coach nobody at any level of college football wanted

I remember feeling a lot of relief when I heard Miles was gone. Has nothing to do with anything that came after that.

a lot of ranters going wild were going wild in fury over the fact that we fired the best coach in the history of college football, not wild with glee.

Miles should have been fired the year before. In his entire time he never put an average SEC QB on the field that he recruited out of high school. That last 4 years recruiting on the O line and the front 7 on defense kept getting worse and worse and that’s been the reason LSU has fallen to average at best in the conference. Miles showed no sign that was going to change. You can sign all the 5 star skill players you want if you get killed on the lines you won’t be at the top. Making a bad hire to replace Miles doesn’t change the fact Miles had the program in a nose dive

So your point is that we fired a coach the game had left behind only to hire an incompetent coach and that that's the reason we shoukd keep the incompetent coach?

I’m waiting for you to answer my question first. How’s it working out for you so far?
Just answer that question.

Not bad. Orgeron certainly accomplished no less than Les. Miles' value is clearly demonstrated by all the offers he has received by P5 programs.
Next question.
