Guy was a really good high school coach but it doesn't look good that he was also Os sons high school coach. It appears he doing a friend a solid in getting him a job.

he is an analyst. Bama has like 15 of these guys. He isn't an on the field coach. This bothers me so little. Some have said he has a good offensive mind. Good, any extra little help in the staff meetings is great.

He attacked defense by its weaknesses. Ran the ball with zone and power. From what I remember.

No set route tree or anything like that. They practiced and ran routes that beat the defense they were playing that week. The way it should be.

Really OP? Jenkins was a guru and Sullivan probably is. Don't throw them in with Lecompte.

Agreed. As long as there is recruiting 'networking' value without excessive pay, it's both viable and valuable. Any analyst value is 'value added'.

More security blankets for an insecure coach

This is a great example of the Peter Principle. Insecure people in high positions tend to run off the most expert and competent people around them. Doesn't look good to have a subordinate with more knowledge of your business than you. Eventually, things start to deteriorate as the incompetent people take over and run the business into the ground. In my life, I have seen this happen over and over.

Real leaders don't feel intimidated by their subordinates. Instead, they use them to improve the business and beat the competitors.

Good Lord our fanbase is dumb.

I have never seen people rant and rave over shite they know nothing about in my life.

"I can't believe we hired that guy as an analyst. What does an analyst do again?"

"I can't believe we are wasting scholarships. How do the scholarships work again?"

I want to find out about the secretarial staff in the football office and make sure they are up to snuff.

Why are people so hung up on this shite?

This guy is going to be working as an analyst making peanuts. There are plenty of other guys working in football ops and some probably have less credentials than he does. Get over it.

Would you rather people getting the job on actual merit or because the dude boils a mean pot of crawfish and coached your son in HS football??
This is LSU; not the church soft ball team
