shite, for several years people wondered why Ensminger was even on staff other than being part of the BBQ buddies.

Yes, morons did.

I'm 100 percent against Ensminger being the OC, but the guy is an excellent coach and recruiter. He is more than qualified for his current role.

Anyone who bagged on him as being some Miles buddy just taking up space at TE is an idiot.

Gus went straight from HS to coordinator, no?

Yes, but that didn't go too well.

Unknown to most of you but Guy was contacted by LSU when Saban was here to be a GA. He couldn't do it for whatever reason, family etc. He is a master at the air raid offense. He implemented it at Salmen and Mandeville. He is a good guy and knows his stuff

If he was the "master" of any offense he wouldn't have been stuck at Mandeville for over a decade.

And no, I'm not just going to glance right past this fricking statement:

LeCompte's attorney, Corey Orgeron of Prairieville, was not immediately available for comment Wednesday.

Correct if he was that good, Mandeville would have been playing and or winning a state championship. He didn't do either. Hell I live in St Tammany parish and I am perplexed by this hiring. At least pick a coach who has won a state championship in the state.

Again, he's an analyst. Very few established high school coaches would derail their careers for this job. Most would take a pay cut.

Mandeville went to the semifinals multiple times under him and he ran into the “established” schools from NO. It’s 5a, winning isn’t easy in that class.

Btw he did win a state championship with Salmen as the OC

He never wanted to be a GA because at that time he had 2 little kids and couldn’t afford he pay cut. Family matters
