No they wouldn’t.

Despite all the whining, in spite all of the melting on the Rant, these facts remain unchanged-

* Ed Orgeron is LSU’s head coach and will remain so for at least two more years. He will be given time to recruit and build his program.
* Coach O will decide what staff is around him. That means if he feels that there is a disconnect with any of his coaches, what he wants ultimately matters.

So, move on. Live your life. Many months to go before next season. Watch basketball and baseball. Smile. Root for the Tigers.
Nah, the fact remains (as I understand it) that O agreed to take a lower salary so that he could manage the team, and get the best coordinators to run each side of the ball. Let's see who replaces Canada, because what he wants does NOT ultimately matter. If it's Ensminger who performed admirably in Cam Cameron's place then there will be a problem as there certainly are younger, brighter minds to be had.

's fault is that? miles shoulda been fired eons ago. he shoulda never been given a new contract after threat to go to arky. shoulda told him GTFO.

you couldnt do that at the time. in hind site sure but when arky thing happened we had just been to our 2nd title game in 4 seasons and he had just had as many top 5 finishes as saban, mac, and dietzel combined.

using hindsight i agree with you.

If we have the same season next year as we did this year, Ed Orgeron will be fired.

Then don't stand up at the podium and tell everyone you're not going to make the same mistakes you made in your past. He literally freaking said "I'm gonna let my coaches coach". He flat out lied

Why is it people like you can't grasp that you can have negative things to say about certain situations surrounding the program and still be supportive of LSU athletics?

That would eliminate the image of running a clean program. opposing team recruiter would be all over that.

Didn’t you predict 6-6 this year after the loss to Troy?

didn’t predict ththe entire SEC WOULD MELT. What’s your point? Everyone else stabilized their coaching staff and we fired an OC without giving him time who produced one of the best QB stats in LSU history...

Not saying O is Saban, but Saban didn’t miss a beat after losing Kiffin. Instability for Offensive and Defensive coordinators is pretty common. It’s really the nature of the business. Canada didn’t work out but doesn’t mean the next guy won’t or that you have to wait that long for your team to get results.
