After yesterday, I'll believe when I see him at a podium.

They just keep calling around. Surely, someone of note was bound to take their money.

If this is true the theory we moved off him to pursue Aranda hard for whatever reason is probably correct

A&M had a nice backup plan

Wish LSU could be like that

This is what happens when you have a competent AD

Sure they didn't pick up what they originally wanted but if they make this hire, it will be an excellent backup

I think it can be if we surround him with good recruiters. We will see. It will take a couple years at least to change the culture on D

Yep. I won’t be holding my breath until a real announcement. Luicci needs to take a break.

?

I don't understand your point, I just pointed out the AD at A&M had a true decent backup plan while Alleva did not

LSU needs a real AD, a competent one that can make good decisions when one plan doesn't fall through. I am not an A&M fan but I can respect the work of their AD. I think he is doing a fantastic job at A&M

Calm down

It’s like all they did was watch the citrus bowl and say “ok one of those DCs HAS to be ours!”

If he misses this one the meltdown amongst the subscriber base will be epic. I certainly don’t want to happen but it would be a sight to behold

Nice. They can't get our DC, so they grab a DC who shut us the frick down.

I'm all for shitting on Alleva but he just solidified Aranda for 4 years with a deal most NFL teams cant match.
