No elite DC is coming to work under Ed Orgeron

After this year and the altercation with Canada and O running him off, it’s not happening.
Good DCs aren’t going to let meddling Ed ruin their career.

For 1.5mill they would.

Nope none. There is a reason why Aranda is leaving and it’s not all because of money

Orgeron is coach at LSU for 1 more season 2 tops. What top flight DC will leave their current school for this shite show?
Posted on 1/3/18 at 2:50 pm to 00 Tech Grad
1.5 million dollars+ says otherwise

What top 10 DC is not already making close that with job security? LSU cannot offer job security thanks to the Canada shite show.

Not if they can’t get another job after O runs them off in the first year.

The new asking price for 1 year as LSU OC/DC just went up precipitously.

Is that what Saban does? Meddle?
Posted on 1/3/18 at 2:53 pm to TexasTiger89
Yeah because O is like Saban.
Genius, why didn’t I think of that?

I was just thinking the same thing.
There is NO "F'ing" way a super bowl ring wearing O-line coach would come to LSU to coach for Coach Eaux. Especially since he knew better after coaching with and for him at both Tennessee and USC.
There is also NO "F'ing" way the #2 recruiter in the nation for the 2016 class would coach with Eaux. the guy coached with him at USC and knows better.
That is why LSU does not have an O-line or running backs coach. Eaux needs to do a lot of hiring the next couple of weeks.
**** For the idiots, my post is total sarcasm.

After the Troy game I said this would happen. O brings nothing from a strategic or tactical standpoint. The only way he could succeed is if he were a good relationship guy that put his coordinators in position to succeed. Les got this and was pretty good at it. That's why he hung around for as long as he did despite the fact that he didn't bring much strategically or tactically.
If O really got into a fist-fight with Canada, he was finished then. Regardless of how successful LSU was in keeping the details out of the paper, it would get around. That information along with O's record and his self-evident incompetence would prevent LSU from getting elite talent whatever the cost. We're at a point now where we're required to pay top 5 coordinator money to tempt an average coordinator.
Offer Aranda the HC position. LSU will be firing O either now or within the next 2 years. If we choose the latter, the program sinks to Hallman levels.

What about Canada, THE ONLY BROYLES CANDIDATE ON OFFENSE!?! Oh wait, you're not pumping him up anymore because Ed and his stupid ego are forcing him out. Instead let's talk about the RB and OL coach and not the OC and DC who are leaving after year 1

Some coordinators actually look beyond 1 year. Imagine that.
