Don’t believe.
There is no way an offensive based head coach would hire a first-time DC at a job as big as FSU.
He needs a proven DC to hold down that side of the ball.
Would be a stupid move.

I could see this happening. Taggart loves Corey Raymond. CR has raided Florida for so long I always felt like if we lose Corey it would be to a Florida school as Dc. Our only hope is to promise him the DC position in waiting when Aranda moves on. And he will before long. He’s never stayed anywhere too long and With all the nfl changes coming I could see him getting that nfl offer he’s wanted. If so I’d say offer Raymond a Dc job. I think he’s got all the right qualities to run a defense.

He should be under serious consideration all across the country annually. We have the advantage of being the alma mater. Match and we should always be good. Isn’t that why we hired a HC for 3.5 million?
If someone offers Raymond significantly more then we are willing to pay we don’t deserve to be a top program
