Slashing the corporate rate was the goal; temp cuts for individuals is just to make it palatable for the masses.

They can easily be extended. Plus every single law enacted by congress can easily
be repealed by the same body. So can we stop with this bs semantics, knuckle dragging talking point?
If you have actual substantive issues with the bill, then by all means discuss. But the fact that something is labeled as temporary and can simply be renewed whenever congress feels like it is practically zero difference from something labeled as permanent that Congress could repeal at any time.

The cuts aren't really temp though, they only have to be written that way to get around the filibuster.
It's called the Byrd Rule.
It's the Democrats that have forced the tax cuts for individuals to be written as 'temporary' not Republicans.
If they would actually support the bill, enough to get it to 60 votes, then the individual cuts could be written at permanent.
They are the ones forcing the temporary nonsense.

Corporations PAY NO tax...it is a pass through, the tax is collected on every item or service they sell.
If a baker sells bread for $ 1.00. But government says next year the new tax on bread will be $ 1.00 more....
