Can we petition to have the benches switch to the opposite side of the court? I would like to be able to see player and coaches reactions from the sideline on TV.

Nope. It was changed so you can see those ads rotating over and over and over on TV. For the LSU family of advertisers or whatever BS they call it

They've always been on that side, they just changed the cameras to the other side, it definitely looks weird since all the other games have the cameras on the coaches.

Not going to happen.

But I hope that after this season they will think about a general reconfiguration of things in that building. Hopefully there will be more students and fans in general who show up.

If you are from the Baton Rouge area and you don't have to work get your arse in a seat and you can see the coaches and players reactions all you want. If you live too far away to travel its a good gripe.

Allen Fieldhouse and Cameron Indoor have the same camera setup as the PMAC

There needs to be a small student section behind the visitor bench.

this cant happen due to sec rule. I spoke with eddie nunez about this and the seating configuration
in the arena, mainly getting the fat lazy reporters up higher and allow the students to get those great seats

It does still seem odd the LSU bench is now where the visitors bench was for years. It flip flopped when the practice facility was built.

What is really lost is the LSU basket was on the opposite end for the second half. So many last minute victories on late baskets there

Mike Darnell vs BAMA
Ricky Blanton vs UNLV
Ross Neltner vs BAMA
Anthony Wilson vs Purdue ( may have been opposite end since NCAA tourney game)
Chris Jackson vs VAndy

Just seemed there was a comfort to shooting on that end of the court for years.

The massive white toonces head graphic at mid court needs to go. Ugly af. The rest of the court looks cool if that was gone, imo fwiw tbh.

What's the specific "sec rule" on this?

Kentucky shot very well on that end of the court in 1994 too... LSU vs Kentucky 1994

Which applies to me obviously and I agree with the OP. I hate the cameras behind the benches. Cannot get used to it at all.

Was actually on the other end. Hell of an ending though. I was down low in the student section for that one and CJ's buzzer beater against Vandy.
