All democrats support a platform that is in favor of killing the innocent.

Democrats also support a platform that is in favor of "From each according to his ability to each according to his need"

When a politician assigns that "D" to their name they are dead to me.

Some a bit to caught up in the political game but overall they should be happy. He's a walking attack ad for 2018 if he made it to the Senate. A reminder to the Alabama GOP that just having an R behind the name doesn't equal a win.

I'm not sad.

I'm just pissed that buffoonery from Mitch McConnell and Steve Bannon gave away a free senate seat to democrats and opened up a path to lose the majority. That kind of civil war cannot be allowed to go on any more.

But if we had like 55 or 56 seats, I would've been very comfortable and ok with Roy Moore losing.

Dude, Roy Moore for all his kookiness was well on his way to winning before the pedo allegations dropped and even then, he only lost by a point or two.

2015 David Vitter would've won comfortably with the 2017 Alabama electorate.

Im from Alabama. Believe this, it was far from in the bag before the pedo stuff. If it had an impact, it was with people who already didn't care for Moore and would take any excuse. The black vote was going to come out strong , the white liberals were going to be plenty motivated against Moore, and suburban conservatives were never going to be comfortable voting for Moore.

It eats at a sense of Alabama always being painted in an embarrassing light. Roy Moore would be another embarrassment. That is what lost Moore the election. The pedo stuff just focused the media attention. It probably did keep some conservatives home. It's not why he lost though, he lost because he's Roy Moore.

so if hitler rose from the dead and was your primary nominee as a republican, you'd vote for him?

You realize it was the 1970s and not the 1870s, right?

Those were my teenage years. It most definitely was not common for teenage girls to date thirty something year old men.

So how mad do you get this night when you think of the hundreds of republicans in Congress who haven’t attempted in the least to overturn Roe v Wade?

By this logic you're saying All Republicans supports a serial pedophile, but as long as there is an R behind his name he can do no wrong.
