You went through this whole thread just to find and post that????? Sad indeed... kinda creepy.....
I mean, you're confused. I had your back.
My point was simple. Just because a team finishes better than you expected doesn't mean it's an ideal finish. It just means you didn't expect much.

I'm cautiously optimistic. I see positives, but also areas of concern. The question is, which prevails? 2018 will be a monumental test. If the HC et al. can adjust to the big changes in offensive personnel and navigate an extremely tough schedule I will be very impressed.
Well...I'm cautious, and I'd love to add optimistic in there as soon as possible!

My mistake is getting drawn into these discussions, but it's like a car wreck. Too hard to look away.
It's not just you, believe me! Several months ago I spent WAY too much time on the Movie/TV board discussing my problems with the movie adaptation of Steven King's IT. Like...page after page for days on end! And don't get started about the abomination that has been the WB/DC movies! haha And none of that comes close to how I care about LSU football, so feeling as strongly as I do about this and being as worried as I am is not the best recipe for avoiding threads like this.

I'll take it game by game like I did with Miles. I've been impressed down the stretch, the staff has them playing at a high level

True.. But do you bash O for beating who was in front of them???? Its not his fault the other teams were not very good.........

I don’t agree with all of your negatives. But good post. Geaux Tigers.

I don’t think you mentioned that the team seems much more disciplined in games.
But your shite was long so I started skimming and may have missed it.

His handling of this Canada situation is completely asinine
Explain. You don't know what happened there. Canada may have told him I'm looking at any HC opportunities that come my way. Orgeron isn't going to stand in his or anyone's way who wants to improve his situation.

I don't think that's what most people are doing. You're building a strawman.
They're just saying you can't claim "mission accomplished" and he's going to a championship by pointing at his record this year as proof when almost all his wins came against teams with losing records. Orgeron fans would have a little more validity if they would at least acknowledge this.

O will be in trouble next year just by looking at the skill position players or lack of them...
The Front Seven will be nasty next year. Will be the most difficult to run on since the 2011 team. If the secondary steps up, this will be a Top 5 "give up less than 14 a game" D.

LOL. I read Cujo, Christine, The Stand and Pet Sematary. The movies were a big disappointment.

Look at what every other SEC team besides Tennessee did with their coaching searches.
And absolutely none of these schools are guaranteed even a winning season next year...much less anything else.

I like how it's a forgone conclusion that we're beating ND.
You just made a forgone conclusion about the other SEC schools....see how that works?

this is laughable....like its CEO's fault the SEC is down this year.

quote:it's not his fault. But the conference sucking balls this year has made it a lot easier to get to nine wins. Beating a three loss auburn team is the highlight of the season.

not the point....if miles was still here and had accomplished the same thing..9-3, the O-haters would excuse the softness of the SEC this year as not Miles fault...but its held against CEO.
