Unless Madrid flip the switch, I think PSG would be favored in this one.

Sevilla’s defense has gotten hammered several times this season. Like this draw.

It's coming together the past week or so. Ronaldo is starting to find the back of the net, and if he gets hot the threepeat is imminent.

February is a long way away....it looked a little better versus Sevilla over the weekend. We'll see.....still PSG won't instill fear in Real like they would some others...I realize the reverse of that is probably true as well.

Torn somewhere between ecstatic at the opportunity to knock out PSG in the round of 16 and annoyed that Papa Flo couldn't line enough pockets for a Besiktas draw.

But seriously, this is exactly what Real Madrid needs to rev up the engines. Especially if the Clasico goes well, I expect los Vikingos to come out of the Christmas break firing on all cylinders. February is a long way off, plenty of time for Real to get back on form.

Not a bad draw for the EPL overall.

Ha, my first comment after seeing City's draw was that we finally lined the right pockets.

Honestly I think you started to see the turn around this weekend. Then the CWC couldn't come at a better time....RM should ride through it with a couple of nice performances then ride right into the almost-Christmas Classico on a good run. We'll see where we go from there....just beating Barca won't be enough to get back into La Liga unfortunately going to need some help from some minnows for that.

I think they'll be up for PSG....hell RM is always up for UCL knockouts...or have been for the last couple of years at least

Considering the lineup we threw out there, what with injuries and suspensions, that game was particularly amazing. Probably could have scored seven or eight to be honest, Cristiano and Benz definitely left one each off the scoreboard. But it takes more than one game. The previous Liga match, at Athletic, was borderline atrocious at times.

Hoping all of the pundits are right about the CWC coming at a good time. My only fear is that playing inferior competition will make for a false sense of security that will actually hurt the team down the line. Will be interested to see what Zizou does in Abu Dhabi.

That's why I'm excited for these matches, nobody on the squad should be sneezing at PSG. They'll be going full throttle. Just hope it carries over to league and Copa play.

If Real can win both Clasicos, then there won't be too much help needed from the minnows. But that's a big if. Won't really care though if the three-peat happens. Copa del Rey win would be nice too.
