Let's settle this once and for all- should you blow if you're pulled over for DUI?

situation 1- you're borderline .08.
situation 2- you're pretty drunk.

No.
No.
Yes, losing your license for a year is bad.
Getting a dwi is worse. With a good lawyer you can walk. Blow and they have the evidence right there.

Well if you get pulled over and are suspicious, your're going to jail that night either way.
The decision is more about timing. If you just pounded 8 shots in 30 minutes before getting pulled over 10 minutes later, blow ASAP before its in your blood.

I'd rather blow less than a 0.08 than have an officer use his discretion to bring me in.
I'll take that shot if I had practice with one prior.

I think it's an automatic license revocation here for six months, so I would gamble and blow.

Yeah because not having a plastic card is going to prevent me from driving

Pft I haven't had a license for 5 years

First DUI? Blow and you lose your license for a small period of time and can get pre-trial. Don't blow and you lose it for a year.

Don’t blow. Easier to work with city attorney when they don’t have hard proof.

Don't drink and drive so that blowing is never necessary.

He can bring you in anyway if he thinks you failed field sobriety

its a grey area
if you refuse to blow, you lose your license for the year. you go to court and figure out the whole deal. i assume its dependent on you fighting it in court. by video of the stop, if a judge deems you innocent, i would imagine the 1 year suspension is lifted. (lawyers here hopefully can answer that)
ill take not having a license over a year versus a criminal conviction on my record
