Not a game where the Rockets were able to rely on the 3 ball, as they only made 10 three pointers total in the game.

Harden with 48 points
CP3 with 24 points

Lillard probably played the best game of his career 9-16 from 3.

Al-Farouq Aminu was 5/8 from 3

Even Meyers Leonard and Zach Collins slammed in some 3s.

Portland was 18/41 from 3, and probably would have won easily against just about any other team in the league, except maybe the Warriors.

20-4, up next with Pels coming off back-to-back.

It's gotta be horrible for all the LA guys on this board. They have to watch this city of Houston enter an era where we're elite in all major sports while the Pels and Saints get bounced in the opening round year after year. Astros won a world series and are loaded with talent for years, rockets are the best team in the league right now, and Deshaun Watson looked like the GOAT qb before his injury. To make matters worse all the elite posters from houston are posting all over the MSB on a daily basis reminding all of them just how great our city and teams are.

Speaking of,Capela is playing out of his mind, have you seen his per 36 stats? You think the pelicans would trade anthony davis and 2 firsts for him? Just thinking how the Rockets could improve, and getting a decent asset for Capela before his big payday this offseason would be nice.

Portland’s defense is garbage without Nurkic. I know we took away yall three ball but we compensated elsewhere.

Im not trying to troll, the Anthony Davis and DeMarcus Cousins experiment is not working, the pels are a .500 team. Jrue is overpaid and now Cousins is gonna get a huge deal. Are they just gonna keep Cousins and Davis and be .500 forever? Look at Houston, they're what 10-0 with Chris Paul playing? Sometimes trades work and sometimes they dont, the cousins trade didn't elevate the pels to contender status.

Clint Capela on the other hand is quietly putting up almost 20 pts 15 reb and 3 blks per 36 as the 5 option on the best team in the NBA. The Pels could dump davis and rebuild around an elite young big like Capela and maybe start to turn the ship around with a core of Jrue,Demarcus and Capela.

Just throwing out some ideas since the NBA rumor mill is dry these days, I think the Rockets would definitely be interested in downgrading from Clint to Anthony Davis if we could get 2 firsts and the pels eat 50% of the remaining salary on davis' albatross deal.

Their 3 most important pieces are the top 3 "wait for the playoffs" type players of all time.

So...let's wait for the playoffs.

I see you are moving the goalposts. You said before the season that getting CP3 was dumb and wouldn’t work.

I was worried that last night would be the end of our winning streak. James Harden's late drives were clutch. It's nice that he has clearly put a focus on scoring at the rim this year. I will admit that he had reached a point where he was too often looking for content around the rim, and that hurt us in crunch time.

Didn’t get to watch this one live sounds like it was the first game worth watching in a month!
7 in a row at home. Take care of business these 7 here and it may be time to starting thinking about 70 wins.
