Ever had the wrong grade put in by a professor?

My younger brother and I were catching up today and he told me a professor miskeyed his final exam from a 90 to an 80. He knew he did well, so he went to check during the "exam review" time, which is when they realized a mistake was made. Made me start thinking about how all of my grades could've been fricked by a professor, and I'd never know because I just accepted what Moodle said as if it was infallible.
Any of you baws actually go confirm your grades in college?

One time a teacher posted a grade and according to the grade I missed three questions and felt for sure I hadn’t missed that many. Went to prof a few days later and we went over them and discovered 2 of the questions were answered wrongly on the key. He changed the key and regrading everything so peoples grades were going up or down depending on what they answered. Created a minor shitstorm in class.

During the review how many others had points wrong? I've always just went through the review, tell the instructor/professor the error, and then email him with the questions and points I rated.
Some teachers, have policies that go as far as all grades are final. I had one this semester that if you argued a grade, you'd get dropped.

Had a prof who was giving extra credit for attendance. He input my grade into the moodle whatever it was called without the extra credit added into it. I emailed to ask him about it, and he updated the grade. Part of me thinks that he was just testing me to see if I was paying attention.

Happened once, always check my grade.
Originally calculated my grade to an A. It was easy, 300 points total for the class, 270 and above was an A. Didn't lose a point all semester and the final was out of 100 points. Got a 96 which means my grade was 296/300 giving me an A.
Got uploaded and showed a B. Professor didn't add in the 50 point paper so my score was 246 which was a B. Got it corrected, but required like 3 signatures to approve..total BS

That’s not allowed.
Students have a right to question or challenge their grades. You guys were silly for buying into that bullshite.

Long story but I had issues while I was sick one time.

Read my wall of text and you'll see what I was dealing with.

What did the professor say when your brother told him about the mistake?

I barely remember college at 42

Have you ever done the math on a calculator? They fricking round off everything. Moodle is like a crackhead. Never ever trust a crackhead. I keep them bitches in their toes. My test scores were 93, 93, 94. Test avg was “93”. Oh no sir, you better add some fricking decimals to that bullshite.
Especially when half of those ruhtards have a grading scale on the syllabus of
A+ = 100-97
A = 96-94
A- = 93-90
Then u get a grade a final of 96.55 and that’s an A? How’s that closer to 96 than 97? Y’all done got me fired up. Pisses me off

Knew someone a few years back who was applying for residencies and wasn't getting interviews and couldn't figure out why. Eventually a program told them it was because they failed a rotation. Turns out a secretary or someone put the wrong grade in but it was too late in the match process to fix it. Talk about getting screwed, that's a huge deal to their career.

I once asked a professor why I got ten points taken off on a short answer question. He said it was completely wrong but here's half credit.
It was a history class and I had gotten two historical figures confused.

Yeah. Ben Martin claimed he simply transposed the wrong overall grade for my class and gave me a "B" but there was a whole saga leading up to that that makes me believe he was purposefully trying to dock my grade. I immediately called the dean and told him it was absolutely wrong. For me to get a "B" in the class I would've had to have gotten below a 75% on the final and I knew I had made at least an 80. The dean was privy to the whole set of shenanigans between Prof Martin and me because I had brought him in on it earlier. He checked into it and claimed it was innocent. I still think that's bullshite. But the official story is that the grade was input incorrectly.

I know professors have boosted my grades before because I took the time and effort and showed the respect that they understood i was interested in their subject and I should get x grade in the class.

I had a final grade of an 86 and the professor gave me an A.
Class wasn’t super hard so I don’t think it was a curve situation...always wondered, but never asked obviously
Professor forgot to include a couple extra credit assignments for everyone. I only did 1 of the 2 assignments...I conveniently left that part out of my email when I kindly pointed out those assignments weren’t included. I needed credit for both to get the bump to an A and the professor just assumed i had done both.
Man college is a racket...miss it sometimes.
