There's your problem. You live among heathens. Come back to God's Country and celebrate Christmas with us good Southern folk.

Anyone else remember this from Ernest Saves Christmas? No way in hell would Hollywood ever let this be shown in a movie nowadays.

Happy Holidays was not only worthless but meaningless. You want to say Happy....say the name of what that religious person is celebrating...don't be so generic.

Unless talking to a group

Or someone you don’t know well

Or your implying plural (Xmas and New Years, for instance)

The entire planet is God's country.

You underestimate how Christian NY and LI is. Sure we have a ton of Jews here (wasn't Jesus one?) but I am telling you there are traffic jams on Sundays in and out of Churches.

Here is one example. True story. I am on LI doing a business deal and I am sadly away from my wife and kids this past Easter. I really was sad about that, but, such is the life. AnywAY I went to my usual church on Easter where we have had "sunrise Easter" for 40 years. It was great. It let out at 8am or so and since I can't cook for (spit - insert curse word of your own) and didn't want to spend crazy money at some "Easter Buffet" I decided to head into an adjacent town and hit a diner or something. I mean, I know it is Easter and all, but how bad can it be? Oh baby it was bad, incredible traffic jams with police and all that at the nearest intersection (where four churches - for lack of a better word "collide") and just wall to wall folks. I would have gone home but I was already in a suit and thought I would just allow myself to get caught up. Two hours (yes!) later I had made new friends and had the worlds best mushroom and peppers omelette.

Don't think people outside the south are heathen's. It is not so. We might not have billboards saying Jesus Saves on our roads, but we are not some kind of pagans. We just don't wear it on our sleeve so to speak.

Your ability to grow and have intellectual freedom on this Earth. But I guess if you want to roll the dice and bank on some words written 2000 years ago then go for it.

If you're a man of odds then you should know the odds don't favor any of that being reality. In fact, it's such a faint possibility numerically that it's not even worth your time to believe in it

XMAS.... There is a reason why there is an "X" over the word/taking the place of CHRIST

Because it’s been used as a shorthand for Christ for centuries?

You have a real tendency to fall for BS. It’s sad. 20B in revenue from Singapore!

I just find it funny the same group of people that always say “All Lives Matter” is the same group saying only “Christ matters”.

So you're just hedging your bets, just in case? Do you think God is fooled by your attempt to outwit Him?

You're either a believer or you aren't. Claiming to believe because "hey, what do I have to lose" is a flimsy foundation to build your salvation upon and is missing the entire point.

See no one cares, when you anti Christian mofos want to point out how Christians need to live and be, to be a good little Eurocat type Christian, then the battle is over. The nasty truth is that the Lord Jesus can use reprobates like Obama to highlight those with evil agendas, and he can use other non Christians to be a friend and even a representative for Christians. And btw, you and your ilk can’t see into the god emperor’s heart, so save your sermons. All Christians don’t fit your narrow stereotypes so F you, and praise the Lord, chump

I always associated it as the Greek letter 'X' (chi) that is the first letter of 'Xristos' (Greek for Christ).

So a person can't have that, whatever that is, as a Christian?

It's once again okay to espouse the belief that all people are created equal, and the hooker, adulterer, tax collector, and thief all have the same or even better moral, ethical and eternal standing as the person who follows rules for rules' sake.

Me like.

"X" in the shorthand for Christmas represents the Greek letter.
