Yeah no shite, lobbying frickhead. Who thinks spots shouldn't be won on the field but by politics and ESPN connections. And SEC doing work.

How about we expand to teams that actuall win their conference.

Hell, lets just expand to teams that win their fricking division! That would be novel for Alabama. Holy shite, we have to win something on the field! WTF we do?

it's easy to like the four when you get a free pass into it

As much as I hate to admit it, I think they're right. Hell, the basketball tournament has 68 teams and people still bitch.

Conference champs + BYEs for the top seeds is a perfect system.

The current model is absolutely retarded.

4 Teams. 5 major conferences + Notre Dame + a very good outlarge team. Means you need a minimum of 7 spots.

Therefore you either go to 8 teams OR you switch to 4 power conferences who only play teams in the Power League.

I've always thought people who bitch about not getting into Ncaa playoff is stupid. If you're on the borderline or if you miss the tournament, the chances of you actually winning it all is extremely slim. So it doesn't even matter at that point.

The difference between college football and basically every other sport is that there are no automatic bids.

I hated the BCS product, and always thought it was the absolute worst way to ever crown a champion.

A 4 team playoff is better, but I still prefer going to 6 or 8. That would be fair, and everyone outside of the top 8 has no reason to bitch because they know they weren't going to win anything honestly.

What is the argument against 6-8 teams anyway? Too many games?

8 is the magic number and always has been. They have been trying to deny it for years but they are all fricking tards. Room for all P5 Champs, then you got your mulligan team(Bama), Notre Dame, and a team like a UCF. Problem solved let 9 and 10 cry it out, who gives a frick about them anyway they should have won more. But this way it makes the entire top 10 have a meaning.

Let the top 4 have opening round home games to make it more interesting and reward them for being a top 4 team.

This. First 5 seeds to the conference champions. 6th seed is wildcard. First two seeds get a bye week.

IDC how shitey LSU is, if they did this I would be forever satisfied.

I wish we went back to using the BCS ratings for the playoffs

It is still shocking to me that we let a group of random people with ties to actual schools vote on which schools are top 4.

Of course he would like this system, they gave him a mulligan this year and he was able to advance while other teams were forced to play a championship game against quality teams while Alabama was sitting at home. They literally lost their way into the playoffs.

I've always believed that if you can't win your division you have no right to win a spot over a team that won their conference.

I think an 8 team playoff would be perfect.

5 P5 conference champions (3 wildcards with a mid-majopr team getting the last spot if they are ranked in the top 15)

8 teams and keep all the bigger bowl games for the rest of the top 25.

If you’re not ranked you don’t get a Bowl game. Sorry.

Honestly, I wouldn’t mind if they did away with all these meaningless Bowl games that the kids don’t GAF about.

This. All of this.

8 is perfect. But we have dumbasses running this system.
