This is pathetic and players are dropping like flies. Bad product.

“Player safety” lulz

They even made the Saints play on a Thursday after a Sunday night game once. NFL gives no fricks. Need bad ratings to get rid of it

If they can't figure out a way to have both teams coming off their bye, then yes.

Terrible product and not safe for players on short rest.

It's really not hard.

TNF on weeks 1 and 6-12 only after bye weeks.
No TNF and London trips in the same season.

Yep. Players getting injured sucks. No one wants to watch the back ups playing with vanilla play calling

Maybe I’m alone on this but I like there being the option to watch football on Thursday.

It’s frustrating that it’s probablt our biggest game of the year but I do like watching other teams when I have nothing going on

I’m OK with it a few times a year. But yeah, the rest of the games need to be scrapped. I forgot there was a game tonight until I saw the score on the ticker.

Its all revenue driven. Id imagine when the next rounds of Players Union discussions get kicked off, this will be discussed heavily.

So you think they are only going to have TNF games 6 or 7 times during the season, all of which would be between weeks 5 and 11?

Would they also do away with Thanksgiving games or is that Thursday game alright?

Listening to Golic and Wingo this morning, some ESPN reporter was on and said that studies show that there is actually a lower injury rate on Thursdays than any other game day. LINK
