Last good snow fall was back in 2008. Got off a dog shift that morning. Had an easy 6" on the ground. What does one do? Of course a walk about in the woods. Just hoping for a good snow fall tonight/tomorrow. At 60, I only saw 5 snow falls here in Louisiana in my life time. Really would enjoy another.

Killed a nice 8pt back in 2008 the day it snowed. Was in college and class was canceled so I ran to the camp for a snowy hunt.

Killed a good 8 last year during that morning sleet storm. Was the 5th buck I saw that morning.

Life goal of mine is to get a nice deer on a snowy day. Crazy how is transforms the woods. It's like you can see 3x as far.

Been fortunate enough to deer hunt in 6” snow on several occasions in Iowa. It is unreal how you can see the slightest deer movement. Watching deer move thru the timber on a snow covered hillside is pretty awesome.

You really should get out more. Snow is a pain in the rear end because of the hazardous road conditions it causes. I spent three winters northeast of Cleveland. I intensely dislike it.

Trained all my life for driving in the snow, by all my life I mean the 7 days I spent on my elk hunt in CO this November. It's like people around here never see snow. SMH

This is Louisiana, baw. We celebrate when there's snow and close everything down to enjoy it.

Now if it's sleet, that's a different story.

When I woke up this morning my first thought was, “damn it his place better not shut down because of a dusting, I’ve got shite to do today.”
For context I moved back to the south from Denver this year.

There's this thing called sarcasm. Look it up when you have a chance.
