amen. WBRZ and WAFB are both complete shite shows when it comes to trying make the irrelevant or non-event an event. But WAFB seems to excel at trying to make race the central theme at every opportunity.

“Since brevity is the soul of wit / And tediousness the limbs and outward flourishes, I will be brief…”

Your entire post is just another argument that all 'white' people are 'racist'...

Nah this story blew up on Reddit and twitter. I'm not surprised it made news. It's a easy click or view grabber and they know it because you can see the amount of people who upvoted and shared it on Reddit or retweeted it.

Happens all the time.

That’s ballsier than asking a woman “when are you due?”

That’s a big fricking assumption to make. Just to kind of be an a-hole. If everything written is true.

I wonder if at anytime she used the term “boy” in her discussion with the dude. And if so did she say it like Foghorn Leghorn.

So if "racism" is as common as we are told, why does a possibly (?) racist comment in an airport garner such widespread interest? It's on Wafb for crying out loud, the dude got a standing ovation for arguing back with the lady.....makes me think somebody wants me to think there's more racism out there than there really is.

Is there a video to back this claim up? If there isn't then this could just be some more BS race baiting.

lot of the Facebook users who responded to the post said the exchange shows the woman's ignorance and the underlying racism in America.

It doesn't look like it had anything to do with being black until random people forced that narrative.

The man (no need to indentify the race of the person unless you want to promote racism) was in the first class line and maybe he was not dressed very well. Who knows. The woman sees him and thinks he might be confused so she tries to help him by letting him know this was the first class line. He probably said ok, I already know. Feeling embarrassed the woman thinks he is military because he is a big guy and she probably has a son in the military and she would like to make a friendly conversation. But the over senisitive man, already feeling disrespected, becomes furious and starts saying racist slurs. One young kid laughs and the rest of the people in line are appalled at the man’s racist and idiotic statement. The woman becomes frightened because of his response and leaves. A liberal twists all the true events around from a simple misunderstanding to promote racism once again.

So now you go from 100% didn't happen to it happened exactly how he said it, but he misinterpreted the words because he's a dumb liberal?

Pick one dude.

oh I understand why they picked it up. Thats exactly my point. It isn't real news. Its a social media story. But supposed legitimate news outlets run with this shite instead of pursuing something thats legitimate, let alone remotely news-worthy.

this type of shite should be on TMZ or a variety show. Yet the two flagship news stations include it in their programming. Yet they want to be considered the "news leader" or "your trusted news source" or whatever their motto is. They're a joke.

and lets not even discuss Josh Eachus' inability to remotely forecast the weather accurately.

FWIW, even if it happened like this, people who would confront someone they don't believe belongs in their line can go frick themselves.

Walker said everyone else waiting in line clapped for his response.

Kinda believed it until this part.

Also, how many damn people are waiting in the priority line? Boarding lines usually start once priority is out of the way and they're onto Group 2 or something.

Exactly. It's some elitist mentality that causes someone to look at another person and automatically judge they don't belong in the same line.

Even if it was a homeless looking person with ratty clothes, I would never comment to another person that they are in the wrong spot with absolutely no knowledge of them at all.
