I think Xi has a lefit argument as well. With the looming implementation of full-scale individual citizens scores, he could be paving the way for an extremely different looking future.

It’s fricking ridiculous Ronan Farrow isn’t on that list. Save for Trump, I don’t see how you can make much of an argument that anyone has influenced the culture more than his piece on Weinstein.
And if Colin Kaepernick ruining the NFL is really the Person of the Year, I’ll laugh my arse off on how ridiculous it is.

Honorable Mention: Marshawn Lynch - a man worked hard to become a millionaire and never had the benefit of a rich inheritance, prep schools, or close associations with Russian money launderers and has no fear of Il Douche.
