The FBI interview was on 24 January. The meeting he lied about was on 29 December.

Sure he forgot what was discussed a few weeks earlier...

He said he didn't recall a statement made by the Russian Ambassador a month prior... can you recall every statement made in every conversation that you had a month ago.....

That’s what it looks like he plead guilty to.

There are only two potential scenarios left for Flynn, and Flynn's potential to throw someone higher under the bus.

We don't have enough information to know which way this is going to go.

Boosie is closest. The IC expert on here has no idea what they're talking about, and at this point we need to assume he misrepresents himself on here if Boosie is closer to reality than he is.

Someone will soon search PACER and start to attempt to interpret how the language in the filing could mean many several different things.

Someone help with my recollection, didn't Hilldawg initially tell the FBI that she had no classified Emails on her private server only to find out later that she indeed did have SAP/classified emails on her personal server?

And for what it worth I don't care if Flynn gets his pee pee whacked for lying, but this type of BS is what the American populace is witnessing and we see the obvious hypocrisy of how the law is applied to different citizens depending on where they land in the Swamp hierarchy.

there will never be a conviction for anything but "lying" to the FBI... the charge of choice when a prosecutor is just trying to save face

Exactly.

The fact this is the charge indicates the SC has not a goddamned thing.

Hmm, maybe that's because she didn't lie to the FBI and you were sold propaganda by a right wing media echo chamber

Hillary Clinton did not know that "c" stood for confidential. That was one of the revelations in the notes the FBI released Friday from their interview with Clinton about her use of a private email server while she was Secretary

Yep, the sitting Sec. of State and most qualified woman ever told the FBI she didn't know c stood for "classified".

He worked in the Obama administration for over two years.
Well if we’re counting his time as a uniformed officer as the same as being a member of the oresident’s Senior staff, technically he “worked for Obama” and his predecessors for 34 years or so.

And he worked for Trump from February 2016-February 2017. That’s not 20 days—your “admin” caveat be damned. And the story he lied about—the one that’s made him a convicted felon—is referenced in the plea. Seems to date specifically to two meetings that occurred during the transition of the Trump admin (and there’s more leading into those, but that comes later, I guess).

Pretty sure I would remember asking the ambassador of Russia to hold off on a response to sanctions and relaying a promise to lift them.

What other part of the conversation do you think he remembered over that?

I can recall the substance of every statement I’ve made in an official capacity at a much lower level and with much less at stake going back years—if prompted, which he was.

No. Public statements are not the same as speaking to an FBI investigator. Obviously.

Right... which was not illegal, so why remember every detail about this conversation... interesting to note that this information came from the illegal wiretapping of Trump Tower
