Guys, do you make an effort to avoid being alone with female co-workers?

All of these sexual harassment allegations have me thinking that you're putting yourself at risk, as a man, by just being alone with a female co-worker. Accusations are easy to make and difficult to disprove, especially in today's climate. Piss a female co-worker off, and next thing you know....

No, for the very reason they can say whatever they want.

It wasn't a thought before all this #metoo shite. Now I will make sure that I never purposely put myself in said position.

It's not as if all these accusations are false. These men being fired repeatedly harassed and assaulted numerous women for years...

There's a reason male doctors almost always have a third party in the room when with a female patient. Women have been pulling this shite forever.

these threads really reveal a lot about where people are in life.

Correct answer -- basic worker - who cares.

Management or leadership --- yes, you better NEVER be alone. Period.

Don't act like a harassing creeper and you'll be fine. It's not hard to be a respectful human being.

Yes. I leave the door open in my office if I am in there with anyone.

No I don't make an effort to avoid being alone with female coworkers. Mostly because I'm not a creepy a-hole so I'm not worried about them making up false accusations about me

If you are in any sort of administrative/supervisory position you should be concerned about this.

Harassment and worse obviously happens but crazy, angry, or desperate people will say unpredictable things. Being a woman isn't necessary protection either. I've now seen women accused by both women and men of inappropriate behavior in response to a bad grade or a bad job review.

No, it's pretty easy to not be a jackass and say something sexual in front of ANYONE at work, let alone women. Also the only contact you should ever make with your coworkers that you aren't super buddy-buddy with should be a handshake. It ends there.

Yup, I don't work with that many women but I'm never alone with them.

Funny you ask this. We are in the middle of a re-org/move and I'm being moved into an office with a solidarity female who I don't know. I asked my management to reconsider this arrangement but it fell on deaf ears. My solution may be to at least leave the door open at all times (sucks because my current office door stays shut and it's better for productivity), leaving when she's present (she's not always in there so it's an option), or using my voice recorder at all times to keep a log of all conversations. I truly believe where I work it's allegations, termination, and then adjudication (if you're lucky). I figure it's best if I have the proof when it comes down to it.
