As an LSU fan, I wouldn't like to see Jimbo at A&M. Not because I would be fearful of him, but because I know he deserves more respect than that. He's better than A&M and honestly I'd be a bit puzzled at why he chose to turn down LSU but take A&M's offer.

I'm glad he's not our coach now but it would still be puzzling to me. Puzzling in a "I feel sorry for him" kind of way.

I really don't think he takes the job.

Well because LSU had a moronic AD who decided to keep Les in 2015 because they stomped a crap Aggie team in the finale and then last year the "optics" of spending a bunch of money on a coach due to the budget crisis heavily impacted.

He would have come to LSU two years ago if we had an AD with some sort of nutsack. From what I can tell FSU hasn't delivered on things needed to help further the program. A&M will provide that for him (LSU would have too).

Turned them down because of how Joe Alleva and F. King completely botched their handling the Miles/Jimbo situation at the end of 2015 season

I think this just proves there was legit interest in jimbo's part and Alleva botched the hire. It's also plausible that fsu fought to keep him so he stayed and after this year they aren't as crazy about keeping him between his record this year and rumors of him leaving every season.

I'd be willing to bet our AD messed that one up.
