Why? Because she throws tantrums and probably tells her parents to frick off? Because she meets older guys on social media applications? Doctors diagnose anything these days. What caused this diagnosis in the first place?

She's 15. Her parents obviously didn't care enough to stop it and I assume she probably does what she wants, or at least did until now.

I'm not saying the dude isnt a creep, but sounds like she could have prevented this. Genius idea, don't give out your address or plan to meet someone when you (15 yrs old) can make that decision and know it's wrong.

I mean, this is bad, real bad.

I really hope most of you saying this girl deserved this, don't have kids. Especially kids with mental health issues.

It's mind boggling that people can come to such stupid opinions about a poor girl with mental health problems who's being taken advantage of by a creepy old fricker.

Probably 18

I’d like someone to explain the difference between a “grown man” and a “man”

She is 15, not 9. She knows what she is doing is horribly wrong.

How about the name and picture of the man that she might be with?

If he was using a social media app he could use a go-phone, use a free email address under a fake name, and create a fake profile. Then you wouldn't know much about him.

Or he was dumb and signed up from his regular phone with his real name.

Maybe he sent her pics of his face. Idk how the parents know much about him tho.

I'm not saying she deserves it. I'm saying she is (word of the year!) complicit

Did I say she deserved this? I just said she's probably not as innocent as most defending her.

Displaced.

I understand what you are TRYING to say, but in this context, it is a losing proposition.

Would this be MORE heinous if the girl was a 6 year old? Absolutely. That proves your principle in theory.

However, it is still very bad.

And that's fine that you disagree. That's why I put a disclaimer in my first comment. It's just my view on these types of things, but a lot of people can't see past the double standard.

It's similar to the teachers banging students.

There's no denying that. Some of it may have to do with people dying at much younger ages.

I don't think you're wrong, and I think it's shitty for anyone to joke about those things.

Of course she is, by why does that even matter?

It matters to a degree:

1. She could be free to call home at any point and chooses not to
2. She may not be held against her will
3. She may not even be in danger

As started earlier. If this happens to a 6 year old girl then she isn’t free, she’s helpless, and in danger.

plenty of kids come from homes that are just fine, yet do similar things because they get roped in through social media and chatrooms and whatnot. You may be right that the parents don't take care of their child, but we don't know that, and it's a bit unfair to make that assumption based on the info available.

those who think that parents always have a magical wand to cure their kids from all evils are just plain dumb.
