It would be fantastic for LSU to compete every year against not only Saban...but Jimbo as well. (Sarcasm)

Not really. Some tweaks here and there and he would be in the mix.

There’s enough talent on that roster to beat LSU, given the right coaching.

Based on what?

Coaching is not solely to blame for giving up 600 yards on defense. Chavis hasn't just forgotten how to coach defense. It's the players and culture, and that doesn't change over night.

Yeah being too soft as a program doesn't get fixed with a few tweaks.

It’s a done deal. It’s been done for awhile. I’ll take a ban bet on I?t.

I've heard that one before.

If it was a done deal the announcement would've already been made.

Maybe...but I'll only believe it when I see it. Fisher has everything he needs in Tallahassee and arguably has an easier path to the CFP there since he doesn't have to bang heads with Nick Saban and Alabama every season. Saban's coaching well into his seventies, so he'll be there a while.

I'm not taking you up on your ban bet, I'm just humbly asking why are you so confident?

ETA: To the LSU fans lamenting a possible Jimbo to A&M hire I'm going to emphatically state that I truly believe Coach Orgeron will win a SEC Championship at LSU before Jimbo will at A&M. Go ahead laugh it up man.

It's going to be truly embarrassing for LSU if Jimbo winds up at A&M. Yeah, it will be a recruiting nightmare, but just the perception of Jimbo spurning LSU (a place where he's won championships), and then leaving for our rival the following year...it's just a bad look.

It would also mean that if we had a halfway competent AD, we could have had Jimbo or Mullen last year. Instead, they'll both now be at schools that we have to play on an annual basis.

If Troy had enough talent to beat us and State had enough to whip us then A&M definitely has enough talent.

Not O’s fault. He still had 5 Sec road games went 6-2 as a first year HC and a new OC.
